THE VIRGIN PASSAGE, Brooklyn, NY 

This cosmic spatial experience was Bang3's first installation together.  Working with a very talented group of artists they inhabited an empty apartment with a one-night-only gallery show.  The Virgin Passage acted as an entry for a series of art spaces.  Through the materials, light and video projections by Julian de Zorzi and Nick D'Emilio, the viewer experienced a moment of stillness and transformation. 

 

RIRI <3 MAC, Barclays Center, NY

RIRI <3 MAC pop-up shop came about through a collaboration between Rihanna and MAC cosmetics. When Rihanna performed at the Barclays Center in 2013, Brygida and the events team at MAC designed an electrifying pop-up store in the stands, selling exclusively Rihanna's RiRi Woo Lipstick. 

 

T-SPOT DUMPLING SHOP, Chinatown, NY

This was mainly a take-out dumpling shop that needed a facelift.  The client wanted to create a friendly and interesting environment, with potential for minimal seating.  Using wood as the main material, Bang3 used pattern and repetition to wrap the space recreating T-spot as the hippest dumpling spot on the block. 

 

WeWork, Bryant Park, NY

In this design for a conference room Cindi explored a new use of material - vinyl panel frequently used in walk-in refrigerators.  It creates a highly flexible, private and acoustically controlled space within a larger open floor plan.  These are all  attributes now frequently demanded by cooperative working spaces. 


CINÉPORT, NY, NY

While taking a course at Columbia U's GSAPP, Marielle worked with a small group and designed this urban intervention.  Lightweight, and transportable, the Cinepod provides an intimate viewing space a midst busy public areas.  Meant to fit 1 or 2 people the air inflated structure becomes a private screening room.  Bang 3 is currently expanding on this idea and developing inflatable screening room prototypes. 

 

WeCross COLLABORATIVE WORKING SPACE, NY, NY

Collaborating with renowned design firm, Studio Dror, WeCross is a collaborative working space dedicated to entrepreneurs in the design professions.  With her team at WeWork, Cindi contributed to programmatic design, spatial layout and the design of custom furniture pieces.  Each detail was thought out to cater to the function and aesthetic expectations of this new generation of working experience.

 

MAC COSMETICS RETAIL SHOWROOM, NY, NY

Every Spring and Fall, Brygida and the events team design a retail showroom at MAC Cosmetic's corporate office.  The goal is to best represent the major upcoming collections by doing a creative installation.  Spring 2014 was all about light, projection and a 360 degrees photography technique. 


PLAYSCAPE, NY, NY

This was an entry for a competition hosted by Sunbrella, a company specializing in durable, indoor/outdoor fabric materials.  The only direction was to use the company's fabric in an innovative way.  Bang3's entry investigated ways the fabric could create new public outdoor spaces in urban environments.

 

BOFFO Building Fashion - Irene Neuwirth and TheVeryMany, NY, NY

The BOFFO Building Fashion series connects architects with fashion designers who have never had a store, and gives the architect or artist a chance to design a brand's first store environment.  Marielle helped assemble this parametric sculptural space by architecture office TheVeryMany.   Laser cut aluminum sheets were curved and riveted together to form this beautiful majestic home for Irene's fine jewelry collection.

 

BOFFO Building Fashion - Patrick Ervell and Graham Hudson, NY, NY

In this collaboration, Marielle assisted artist Graham Hudson in creating a space that seemed in-construction, raw and intricate , to house Patrick Ervell's clean and minimal menswear.   All materials used were waste from local construction projects in NYC.

 

BONA HOME GOODS STORE, Debica, Poland

This micro home goods store was looking for a design intervention which would allow for a better organization of the space and merchandise.  Bang3 built a procession of frames imitating a house profile and used strong, large graphics to indicate each category:  Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Kids.
